The U.S. has invested billions of dollars in its infrastructure including airports, water treatment facilities and roads. But the price of design, construction and maintenance is only part of the cost.

The exhibit's office space focuses on the costs and environmental impact of producing, using and disposing of computer equipment and other office products. Balancing benefits and costs is the complex task that faces civil engineers.
