Mark Peterson, P.E., M.ASCE, has a BS and an MS degree from Montana State University. He has been practicing engineering for 30 years and is registered in Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota and Minnesota. He has worked in state government in highway design and subdivision review. He has also worked as a consultant for over 15 years. He is currently employed by Advanced Engineering and Environmental Services. He has taught several courses in storm drainage for regulatory agencies and currently teaches courses for ASCE in Detention Pond Design and Pipe Material Selection. He has also been published in the ASCE Journal of Hydraulic Engineering.
