Cheryl McBride is a Director with Trauner Consulting Services, Inc., a consulting engineering firm with offices in San Diego, Orlando and Philadelphia. She received an associate’s degree in construction technology from Erie Community College in Williamsville, New York, and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York. Cheryl has extensive experience in the construction industry as a field inspector, senior construction inspector, quality assurance engineer, field engineer, estimator, superintendent, construction manager, senior project engineer, cost manager, project manager and senior project manager. She has managed hard bid “at risk” projects, negotiated fee projects, cost plus contracts, and design-build projects for both private sector and public/governmental owners. Her completed project portfolio includes heavy/highway, site/civil, buildings, commercial, industrial, rapid transit, airport, marine and nuclear cleanup site projects. As a consultant, she has worked for both public and private owners and specializes in liability analyses, claims preparation, change order review, and project oversight. Cheryl is an instructor for ASCE, the Associated General Contractors and the National Association of Women in Construction.
