Khalil Elias Kodsi, P.E. PMP, has over 28 years in professional engineering experience with the last 22 years supporting the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). He is working for the Office of Airport Safety and Standards at Headquarters in Washington DC where he is the lead investigator/author on Advisory Circulars. Mr. Kodsi is the Team Leader for the update of “Airport Design” AC 150/5300-13A. A recent accomplishment for Mr. Kodsi was the publication of “Operational Safety on Airports during Construction”, AC 150/5370-2F. Mr. Kodsi worked for various FAA branches within the Air Traffic Organization; he was responsible for the planning, design and construction of numerous airway facilities projects.
Prior to joining the FAA, Mr. Kodsi worked as a structural design engineer on state and interstate highway bridges. Mr. Kodsi is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He is a licensed professional Civil Engineer in the State of Maryland and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
