Major research related achievements have been:

  • advanced state-of-the-art on nutrient and pesticide transport from turfgrass environments through 10-years of funding from the United States Golf Association (USGA),
  • advanced understanding of ethics education in science and engineering disciplines through 4-years of funding from the National Science Foundation (NSF),
  • built the largest known library (420) of engineering ethics case studies based on actual situations, and
  • disseminated knowledge through about 180 articles, seminars or workshops (35 peer-reviewed articles or book chapters, h-index of 8 and 238 citations (Google Scholar, 2/22/14)).
