E.C. Hunnicutt, P.E., member of the Airport Safety and Standards Contract Support Team supporting the FAA Office of Airports, retired from the FAA in 2010 after 36 years of Federal service. His service included more than 18 years with the FAA and over 7 years as a civil engineer in the Airport Engineering Division in Headquarters with responsibilities for airspace, heliports, EMAS and Airport Design. He also spent 11 years as a program manager in the Atlanta ADO. His prior experience included 15 years with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and 2 years with Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. He received his MSCE and BSCE in civil engineering from Georgia Tech.
