This seminar and computer workshop reviews procedures for predicting peak discharge for culvert design and use of these methods to design culverts for different physical settings. You will learn how to use HDS-5, your State Highway Design Manual, and HY-8 to design a culvert considering peak flow requirements, inlet and outlet control, improved inlets, and important policies and procedures.
