Meet Your Instructors
Nageshwar Bhaskar has taught and prepared engineers to pass the P.E. exam over 15 years. His professional expertise includes: Storm water management; hydrologic and hydraulic analysis of dams; reservoir operation modeling water quality in surface water systems; and modeling of water resources systems using simulation methods. Dr. Bhasker is a Professor at Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, University of Louisville. He is a PE and has a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Ohio State University and an MS in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland.
Cathy Price has over 15 years of experience in the hazardous waste industry. She has been preparing engineers pass the P.E. exam for 5 years. She has worked in the consulting industry and for state and local government. She is the Hazardous Waste Coordinator at the University of Louisville’s Department of Environmental Health & Safety and oversees the collection and transportation of chemical waste, universal waste, and medical waste for over 700 laboratories and clinical areas. Additionally, she manages the daily operations of the University’s Federal and State Permitted Hazardous Waste Storage Facility. Cathy is a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) and a Registered Sanitarian (RS) in the state of Kentucky. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Eastern Kentucky University.
Mark Saliga has taught and prepared engineers pass the P.E. exam for over 5 years. He has over 17 years of experience in remedial action design and construction management for Leaking Underground Storage Tank projects, Uncontrolled Hazardous Waste sites, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act facilities, brownfield sites, and various solid waste management facilities. Mark holds a BS in Civil Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and an MS in Environmental Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Mark is a P.E. and is an engineer with Shield Environmental Associates.
Andy Winfrey has been teaching and preparing engineers pass the P.E. exam for 15 years. Andy has been involved in the planning, design, construction management, and monitoring of water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, sanitary landfills, and hazardous waste management for cities, counties, states, and major industries. He is a member of ASCE, and a registered professional engineer. Andy has a BS and MS, in Civil (Environmental) Engineering from the University of Kentucky and completed a Post Graduate Course in Air and Environmental Management at the University of Southern California.
