This recognition program has, for the past nine years, honored the nation’s most promising, diverse young engineering professionals by highlighting their professional contributions and noting the direct and positive effects they have on people’s everyday lives. Honorees will be highlighted in key ASCE publications, via their employer publications and hometown publications, on the ASCE YouTube page and in engineering trade publications.
Starting in mid August of each year, ASCE begins accepting nominations from the civil engineering community. Nominees must be a
ASCE member in good standing, provide a video and/or photos of themselves and obtain a brief statement of support from a colleague or peer. ASCE will forward the five top nominees to the National Engineers Week Foundation, which will select the final civil engineering representative and announce their names during Engineers Week.
