  • ASCE National Election

    Starting in 2015, the election will be conducted electronically and paper ballots will no longer be sent to the membership. 

  • What are the requirements to run for election?

    • President-elect candidates must have had prior service on the Board of Direction.
    • Geographic Region Director candidates must have an Address of Record within the Region they wish to represent and have served as a Region Governor.
    • Technical Region Director candidates must have served as a voting member on an Institute Board of Governors.
    • Region Governor candidates must have an Address of Record within the Region they wish to represent and have prior service as a Section or Branch officer, a member of a Section or Branch committee, or as a member of a Society-level committee.
    • All candidates must be a member in good standing.
    • Individuals wishing to pursue an elected office should review the Society's governing documents for filing deadlines and required election materials.

    How can I participate in the election?

    • Members at the grade of Associate or above may vote in the election.
    • Members must pay their dues no later than March 15 and have a valid email address on file.
    • Election credentials will be sent by email to eligible members on May 1.
    • Voting will be open from May 1 to June 1.
