    Voluntary Contributions

ASCE has numerous national and local programs that work towards advancing the civil engineering profession:

    Diversity Fund

ASCE is committed to the advancement of inclusiveness within the civil engineering profession. Your gifts will provide funding for diversity-related programs, workshops, webinars and other activities designed to support inclusiveness in civil engineering in all sectors, including private industry, government agencies and institutions of higher learning.

    The Innovation Fund

The Innovation Fund promotes civil engineering innovation with a focus on strengthening project productivity, performance, and quality, through innovative practices and creative solutions to infrastructure challenges. Your gifts to the Innovation Fund are used to support programs focused on innovation in the engineering and construction industry.

     K - 12 Outreach

Inspire young people to explore the world of civil engineering through ASCE's Pre-College Outreach (K-12) program.  Your gifts help fund programs like the award-winning kids' website ASCEville.org, the Emmy-award winning kids engineering series Design Squad, and the popular ZOOM Into Engineering program.

    Public Image Fund

Your gifts support ASCE's work to improve public understanding of civil engineering and build support for America's infrastructure investment, through programs such as the ASCE Report Card for America's Infrastructure, and documentaries and museum exhibits like the award-winning documentary and outreach program Liquid Assets: The Story of Our Water Infrastructure. Your gifts also provide training to enable civil engineers to effectively promote civil engineering through ASCE 's Public Relations University.

    Sustainability Fund

As the stewards of society's physical infrastructure, it is incumbent upon civil engineers to lead the next shift in sustainable planning, design and construction. The Sustainability Fund provides support for ASCE sustainability initiatives, including resources to help civil engineers plan and execute with sustainability in mind.

    Section Voluntary Fund

Each ASCE Section determines how to best use these contributions. Many provide scholarships to students and to support continuing education for their members. Go to www.asce.org/local for more information on local Section activities.
