In seeking its next generation of leaders, the civil engineering profession looks every year to the 10 individuals 30 years of age or younger chosen by ASCE in its program New Faces of Civil Engineering Professionals. The civil engineers making up the 2013 class exhibit leadership, technical prowess, confidence, curiosity, integrity, sound judgment, and a positive attitude. ASCE proudly salutes our 10th anniversary class of honorees, whose work and personal achievements represent the bold and humanitarian future of civil engineering.
Because their achievements remain all around us, we know and continue to benefit from their civil engineering prowess. Read profiles of the world's greatest historic civil engineers and the works they made possible, plus the technical advances and innovations they devised that are still used and expanded upon by today's engineering professionals.
Congratulations to this year's 10 New Faces of Civil Engineering - College Edition!
As part of the ongoing effort to celebrate the breadth of diversity among civil engineers, ASCE presents this new section of the website, dedicated to bringing much-deserved attention to the outstanding accomplishments of women in civil engineering through profiles of some of the many inspiring individuals from past and present.
