    As part of the ongoing effort to celebrate the breadth of diversity among civil engineers, ASCE presents this new section of its website, dedicated to bring much deserved attention to the legacy and accomplishments of civil engineers of Asian-Pacific heritage through profiling some of the many inspiring individuals from both past and present.

    The profiles below represent only small portion of the many individuals deserving of recognition. As we continue to develop this section, we invite you to share your feedback by suggesting other diverse civil engineers to be profiled. Suggestions may be sent to diversity@asce.org.

In addition to their distinguished professional accomplishments, these engineers are also growing their presence as leaders in fields as mentors, both professional and academic, as well as being active volunteers in a variety of professional organizations.
