Kimberly Gee, A.M.ASCE
2014 New Faces of Civil Engineering - Professional Honoree
Gee is a Bridge Engineer with NCM Engineering Corporation in Rancho Santa Margarita, California where she is involved in several bridge projects including major freeway interchanges, roadway bridges, railroad gate separations, and water crossings.
An active member of ASCE’s Orange County Younger Member Forum (YMF), Gee has volunteered as the YMF Secretary, Programs Chair, K-12 Outreach Chair, Community Service Chair, and Popsicle Stick Bridge Competition committee member. Gee is also very active with her church where she teaches Sunday school, serves as an administrator, and has taken a mission trip to Amman, Jordan.
Known for her unparalleled ability to procure funding, Gee has successfully helped local agencies secure millions of dollars in federal funds through the Highway Bridge Program (HBP) to replace dilapidated bridges and protecting public safety.
Gee earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Irvine in Civil Engineering and recently earned her master’s degree from UC Irvine, with a specialization in structures.
