This report describes a HITEC evaluation designed to determine the basic capabilities and limitations of rammed aggregate piers, produced by Geopier Foundation Company, as a ground improvement technique for transportation applications. The evaluation was based on design, construction, performance, and quality assurance information outlined in the HITEC Evaluation Plan developed for this technology.
