Proceedings of the Second Congress on Computing in Civil Engineering, held in Atlanta, Georgia, June 5-8, 1995.

This collection consists of more than 200 papers on recent advances and issues related to contemporary computer practices throughout the civil engineering profession. Contributions feature case-based studies and research on the present and future use of computers in environmental engineering and hydrology, structural engineering and construction, civil engineering education, transportation enginering, and geotechnical engineering. Automation in highway engineering, finite element modeling, applications in foundation engineering, fuzzy logic and expert systems in construction, and the impact of multimedia information on civil engineering education are among the many varied topics addressed.
