Sustainability Resources

The Society offers a host of resources to help civil engineers plan and execute with sustainability in mind, and supports other professional groups pursuing the same objectives.

In addition to the resources provided by ASCE, additional resources can be found on the Web sites of these professional groups

  • Founder Societies' Carbon Management Project - The Engineering Founder Societies’ Carbon Management Project goal is to assure that engineering communities, educators, the general public, and public policy makers have the best-available information, analysis, sound engineering advice and recommendations regarding: (1) the mitigation of greenhouse gas emissions, which contribute to climate change, and (2) engineering approaches for adaptation to climate change. The project is developing a major Carbon Management Technology Conference for 2012.
