Region 1 Highlights and Announcements:

I. Boston Society of Civil Engineers, Section receives award

The Boston Society of Civil Engineers Section won the 2012 Outstanding Section and Branch Award for Very Large Sections and Branches. This award will be presented at the Regions 1, 2, 4, and 5 Multi-Region Leadership Conference on Saturday, February 9 Congratulations to BSCES!

II. Maine Section receives award

The Maine Section won the 2012 Outstanding Section and Branch Award for medium sized Sections and Branches. This award will be presented at the Regions 1, 2, 4, and 5 Multi-Region Leadership Conference on Saturday, February 9.

III. Vermont Section receives award

The Vermont Section won the 2012 Outstanding Section and Branch Award for the small Section and Branch category. This award will be presented at the Regions 1, 2, 4, and 5 Multi-Region Leadership Conference on Saturday, February 9
