ASCE Election dates

December 1:    Candidates for President-elect, Region Director and Region Governor must submit a letter of intent to their Geographic Region Nominating Committee.
 
December 15:  Region Boards may not nominate or endorse individuals for President-elect prior to this date.
 
March 1:    List of Official Nominees must be submitted to the Society Secretary (Region Directors and/or Region Governors).
 
March 15:    Official and Petition Nominees must submit their Letter of Intent to Serve to the Society Secretary.
 
April 1:    Petitions, if applicable, must be submitted to the Society Secretary for validation.
 
April l:    Biographical Statements, Vision Statements (if applicable) and photographs must be submitted to the Society Secretary.  The Technical Region Director may be required to submit additional documents, depending on the number of nominees.
 
June 1:    Endorsements, if applicable, must be submitted to the Society Secretary.
 
June 15 through August 14:    Election is open.
 
August 16:  Tellers Committee convenes to validate election results.

The Assembly is scheduled for Hartford, Connecticut on April 19-20, 2013
