Biographical Information

Technical committee and task force membership carries with it an obligation to participate actively in committee or task force work through contribution of technical information, prompt reply for comments on draft reports and ballots, and attendance at meetings. Committee members are chosen as individuals, not as representatives of industries or groups. Personal experience and ability are the most important criteria. One may only apply to and be a member of two committees at any time.
