Computing and the Undergraduate Curriculum

Dr. Ian Smith presented his paper, "Integrating the science of computing into undergraduate engineering curricula," at the ASCE Structures Conference 2012 in Chicago on March 29-31, 2012.  It outlines the importance of the specialized skills needed for engineering computing, and offers suggestions and guidelines on integrating computing into the engineering classroom using recent examples from around the world.
