Purpose: to focus attention on the special considerations needed for addressing older structures. This will include evaluation, investigation, material compatibility, renovation and preservation. The major thrust would initially be on buildings and historic bridges. At present the remaining infrastructure would not be included, though this may be added subject to committee interest.
