AEI Professional Project Award

Call For Nominations - by January 31, 2014

The Architectural Engineering Institute (AEI) of the American Society of Civil Engineers is pleased to announce the second annual Architectural Engineering Institute Professional Project Award (PPA).

The AEI Professional Project Award program is designed to publicly acknowledge outstanding achievement in design and construction. The program seeks to educate students and professionals through examples that illustrate the application of academic studies to practice, with focus on the art and science of an integrated approach to architectural engineering.  Learn more about the PPA.

This year's competition which takes place at Drexel University during the AEI 2014 National Student Conference, will challenge students to address the design, integration, and construction issues that must be considered for a new high profile 30 story high rise office building located at 350 Mission in San Francisco, California.

Engineering For You - Video Contest

National Academy of Engineering

In celebration of its upcoming 50th anniversary, the National Academy of Engineering (NAE) is launching Engineering for You (E4U), a video contest to show the impact that engineering has or will have on society.   NAE is offering a $25,000 prize to the most inspiring 1-2 minute video focused anywhere between 1964 and 2064. The contest will run from Nov. 1, 2013, to March 31, 2014. Learn more at NAE-e4u.
