June 14, 15, 2012 - UPDATE
AEI members contribute to the licensure process . . .
On June 14-15, 2012, the Architectural Engineering Exam Committee conducted a workshop in Kansas City, MO, to write and review exam test items for the Principles and Practice of Engineering (PE) exam in Architectural Engineering. The Architectural Engineering Institute (AEI) is the sponsoring society for this Group II exam. As such, they are responsible for the development and maintenance of the PE exam in Architectural Engineering. Eighteen licensed professional engineers who practice in the electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, structural engineering, and construction management areas of the building design and construction profession gathered at the workshop. The participants wrote new exam test items, reviewed previously written test items, updated previously written test items to current codes and standards, and pretested the April 2013 exam. Learn more.
If you’d like to volunteer for the 2013 workshop, please e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org.
