Chris Olson is a Senior Water Resource Engineer with Wright Water Engineers, Inc. in Denver, Colorado and a registered Professional Engineer in Colorado.

Prior to joining WWE in January 2019, Chris served as the Program Director for the Colorado Stormwater Center at Colorado State University, where he also obtained his doctorate and master's degrees in Civil Engineering.

At WWE, Chris uses SWMM on a near daily basis for stormwater master plans, floodplain mapping studies, stormwater control measure design, forensic analysis of flooding events, among others.

He has previously taught SWMM courses for the Urban Watersheds Research Institute and US Army Corps of Engineers and was an adjunct instructor at Colorado State University where he taught both undergraduate and graduate courses in non-point source pollution and urban stormwater management.
