Mark started Woodson Engineering in Flagstaff, Arizona over 20 years ago. His firm specializes in helping communities across the southwest achieve success. Mark's primary focus is consulting in City Engineering and Public Works management. Prior to starting Woodson Engineering, Mark was the Flagstaff City Engineer. While at the City, Mark was part of the leadership that put in place the standards to become the country's first Dark Sky City. He also worked on the development of the award winning Flagstaff Urban Trail System (FUTS) and modern Sign Code. Today Mark serves as the ASCE President, is on the Board of Engineers Without Borders-USA, is a Governor appointee to the Arizona Land Department Land Planning Committee and was a Flagstaff City Council member.
Mark received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and an MBA from the University of Arizona in Tucson. Mark is a licensed civil engineer and surveyor in California and Arizona.
