It is an honor and a pleasure to serve as President of our Institute this year. Having served on numerous committee positions over the years, I have developed a deep respect and admiration for the work and character of our members.
Recently, the UNF COPRI chapter spent a sunny afternoon touring the facilities at JAXPORT. The mix of graduate and undergraduate students, with a few professors along for the ride, got to see all the innerworkings of the Jacksonville Port Authority. Spread across multiple locations, JAXPORT owns, maintains and markets three cargo terminals, a cruise terminal and an intermodal rail terminal along the St. Johns River: Blount Island Marine Terminal, Dames Point Marine Terminal, Talleyrand Marine Terminal, the JAXPORT Cruise Terminal and the JAXPORT Intermodal Container Transfer Facility.
