Construction Insurance Claims
The construction industry is currently experiencing a hard insurance market. This seminar will discuss specific examples of construction insurance claims from:
- a loss control perspective, how claims can be prevented or minimized.
- an insurance claims perspective, what the contractor can do to expedite claims handling and prevent claims from becoming larger.
- an insurance underwriting perspective, why policy coverage and insurance program structure are issues.

Construction Contract Claims Prevention
The seminar will also address construction contract claims and construction claims prevention. The speakers will:
- look at techniques that have proven effective in achieving timely and reasonable settlement of issues and/or claims.
- discuss claim issues such as differing site conditions and defective specifications.
