Cyber Cafe
The Cyber Café returns! We are once again pleased to offer the Cyber Café to attendees at this year’s events, so you can check and download your e-mail or contact your office or home – without having to carry along your computer. For your convenience, the Café is open the same hours as the Exposition Hall and eight terminals should be waiting for you! So, unless you need it for a session presentation, leave your laptop at home!

Media Registration
Complimentary registration is available for credentialed members of the media. For information on media registration, contact Norida Torriente, ASCE Senior Manager of Media Relations: 202-789-
2200 or e-mail ntorriente@asce.org. A press room will provide resources for use by the media, Sunday through Thursday.
Discounted Group Registration
Full Registration only. When registering 3 to 9 persons, save $50 on each registration.
When registering 10 or more persons, save $60 on each registration. All registrations must be submitted at the same time and with the same form of payment in order to be eligible for this
discount.
Discounted Group Registration is not available for Daily, Student, or On-site Registrations. It is also not available on line.
Professional Development Hours
Earn up to 34.5 nationally recognized professional development hours (PDH’s) by attending the full Conference Program. Please check your on-site Registration Packet for complete details.
Speakers' Preparation Room
The Speakers’ Preparation Room is available to all presenters and offers audio-visual equipment including an overhead projector, slide projector with trays, Caramate, and screen to preview presentations. For security reasons, we regret that an LCD projector will not be available in this room. Speakers who are making computer- generated presentations must bring their own computers or arrange with the session moderator to share usage of a computer. ASCE is unable to provide computers
for use during technical sessions.

Speakers’ Breakfasts

A complimentary Speakers’ Breakfast is offered in the Speakers’ Preparation Room each morning for speakers, moderators, and coordinators involved in that day’s presentations. Sunday Breakfast will be
served 10:00 - 11:00 AM, For catering purposes, a sign-up sheet will be included in the Speakers’ Package, to enable all Speakers/Moderators to indicate in advance their participation in the breakfast on the day of presentation.
Dress
Comfortable business attire is appropriate for most Washington DC 2002 Civil Engineering Conference & Exposition activities. Although jackets are not required for the sessions, they are advisable as conference rooms are typically cool. Dress for the Gala Banquet is Black Tie Optional.
