Sustainability in Action
Session will highlight activities illustrating the range of civil engineers activities to promote sustainable development. These include a unique program that educates future engineers to work effectively in the developing world; measuring progress towards sustainability; and efforts by the U.S. engineering community to support U.S. commitments made at the Johannesburg conference and enhanced engineering programming at UNESCO as part of the United States planned reentry this year.
