Casual dress is ideal for Charleston's warm summer days and nights. May tends to be warm and humid, with the average daily temperatures ranging from a high of 80 degrees to a low of 67 degrees.

Hotel reservations must be made by April 15, 2005 to guarantee a room at the conference rate. Reservations made after April 15 will be accepted based on availability and may not be at the conference rates. All hotel reservations MUST be made directly through the hotel.

The CD05 conference room rate is $139.00 per night, May 8-13, and $189.00 per night on May 6-7. Tax of 12% is added to room rate. When making a reservation, ask for the ASCE/Solutions to Coastal Disasters 2005 room block.
