Ground Transportation
A rental car is not necessary. The Coastal Sediments 07 Steering Committee recommends that a taxicab be taken from the airport.Taxicabs: Taxis are always available. The ride from the airport to the Central Business District (CBD) is $28 for up to 2 passengers and a $12 per passenger charge for 3 or more passengers. Pick-up is on the lower-level of the airport right outside of baggage claim.
Airport Shuttle: Shuttle service is available from the airport to all hotels in the CBD for $13 per passenger(one-way) $24 roundtrip if two or more passengers purchase together at the airport). Three bags per person. Call 1-866-596-2699 or (504) 522-3500 for more details or to make a reservation. Advance reservations are required 48 hours prior to travel for all ADA accessible transfers. Please call well enough in advance for the specially equipped shuttle to be reserved. For group reservations of 10 or more please call: 1-888-432-7651. Ticket booths are located on the lower in the baggage claim area.
