Monday, May14 Tuesday, May 15 Wednesday, May 16 Thursday, May 17 Attention Presenters and Session ModeratorsPresentations are 20 min long, and we recommend 4-5 min for discussion, plus allowance for the short time to change between speakers. This gives about 15 min for the main talk. The CS07 Organizing Committee advises a limit of 20 PowerPoint slides for the typical speaker and typical presentation. If you plan to show animations, movies, composite slides or similar, please load and check the operation of your PowerPoint presentation in the Speakers Preparation room to assure that it works and to have time to make adjustments. If your presentation includes equations, we recommend you paste them into your presentation as graphics so that they will not depend on fonts available on the Conference laptops in the breakout sessions. Talks developed from MACs and transferred to PCs should be checked in particular. Please bring your presentations for loading to the Conference laptops on a flash drive or other portable PC-compatible memory device. Plan to upload and check your presentation on the Conference laptops the day before in the Speakers Preparation room or at the Speakers? Breakfast the day of your presentation at the latest. The Conference laptops in the breakout sessions cannot be switched out with a presenter's laptop. Again, we recommend a limit of about 20 slides for the 15 min of main presentation, followed by 4-5 min of discussion. |
