Congress Dress:

Business casual attire is appropriate for most World Water Congress events. Although jackets are not required for the sessions, jackets or sweaters that can be removed are advisable because conference rooms may be cool. You may choose to wear business attire for the Tuesday awards luncheon.

The best plan is to dress in layers, so that as you move from one place to another you can adjust your clothing. Late June can be quite warm in Philadelphia. In order to enjoy the sightseeing, be sure to bring good walking shoes and comfortable clothes.

The average high temperature in June is 81F/27C, and the low is 63F/17C.

Electricity:

The electricity used in the United States is standard electricity, which is 110 volts. Please bring the appropriate adapters and transformers for any appliances or computers that you bring to the Congress, as these are not readily available in the United States for adaptation FROM overseas appliances.
