and Branch Welcome in exhibit Hall

You are cordially invited to drop by the Exhibit Hall for hors d'oeuvres and a casual toast to all who have joined us in Omaha to attend this Congress. International participants and Section & Branch representatives are especially encouraged to stop by to say: "Hello!"

Participation from around the globe proves that the world grows smaller every day and that there is no greater experience than meeting international colleagues in person. The International Fellowship Reception provides the opportunity for colleagues from many lands to greet members of the International Council (IC) and to welcome the 2006 EWRI International Fellowship winners:

Mr. Haider A. Ali Al-Hemairi of Iraq

Dr. Marwan Haddad of Palestine

Dr. Ramakar Jha of India

Dr. Shengwen Qi of China

These International Fellows, who were competitively selected by the IC's Visiting International Fellowship Task Committee, will participate in the Congress and in additional professional and cultural exchange activities during their visit to the United States.

The IC established the Visiting International Fellowship program to promote cultural and technical exchange between EWRI members and international colleagues from developing countries. This marks the program's sixth year.

International Attendees - Invitation

Invitation Letter Request Instructions:

Please fill out the required fields of name, address, and e-mail address on the form.

When you submit your form it will be sent to Conferences2@asce.org and your invitation letter will be prepared and sent by airmail to the address that you provided on the form by airmail. The letter is generally received within a couple of weeks.

Letters may be faxed if requested. Please provide us with a fax number and indicate that you would like the letter faxed in addition to the original airmailed copy.

Letters cannot be e-mailed or sent to the Embassy or U.S. Consulate. ASCE cannot intervene on behalf of the invitees with the Embassy or U.S. Consulate via fax, phone, surface mail, or e-mail.
