Software and Hardware Capabilities
Part of GeoCongress 2006, a Geo-Institute Congress
February 26 - March 1, 2006
Hyatt Regency Atlanta

Call For Demonstrations

The demonstration sessions will be organized as a series of informal mini-presentations and hands-on demonstrations. Four concurrent presentations may be made by software and hardware developers/vendors who wish to demonstrate the technical capabilities of their product to a small audience of interested professionals and potential customers. Developers/vendors will have a specific quadrant of the presentation room pre-assigned to them for their time slot. Space will be available for 15 - 30 presenters during 3 sessions over 2 days. Space is limited and requests will be handled on a first-come-first-served basis. All projection equipment should be provided by the developer/vendor. The date and time of each demonstration session will be pre-assigned and published for distribution to congress participants. These presentations will be relatively informal and focused on actual demonstrations and hands-on activity. The intention of this style of presentation is to augment and not replace the conventional ?booth? style presentation where the audience is more transient and not conducive to technical interactions. To the extent possible, the individual sessions will be grouped into common themes to facilitate audience participation and planning.
