Stay at the Conference Hotel and Save on Your Registration Fee!

To keep registration fees—and your ASCE dues—low, it is critical to fill the hotel block and avoid attrition penalties. This year ASCE is offering registrants who stay at the conference hotel, the U.S. Grant Hotel, a $100 discount off your registration fee. You must first register at the conference hotel and provide the hotel code and confirmation number on your registration form to receive the reduced rate. See conference registration form on page 15.

Travel Arrangements

Discount airline rates are available to conference attendees from United Airlines when you or your travel agent book through the toll–free numbers listed below. Please secure your conference registration and hotel reservation prior to making flight plans. ASCE is not liable for any penalties incurred if you cancel/change your airline reservations. Registrations will not be processed without payment or purchase order.

Cancellations

Cancellations must be received in writing at ASCE headquarters by July 2, 2004, to receive a refund of the registration fee. A $50 processing fee will be deducted from all refunds. Additional event tickets will be fully refunded if canceled in writing by July 2, 2004. THERE ARE NO CANCELLATIONS AFTER July 2, 2004.

Conference Proceedings

Copies of the conference proceedings (one CD) will be available on site. One copy of the conference proceedings on CD is included with each full registration fee. Additional copies may be purchased at $100 each. Conference Dress

Casual dress is ideal for San Diego's warm summer days and nights. The average temperature in August is 75 degrees.

Earn Valuable Professional Development Hours (PDHs)

PDHs, a nationally recognized unit of record in non–credit educational programs, are earned for participation in conference technical activities. Earn 15 PDHs for attending the opening plenary session and all 11 concurrent sessions. Your onsite registration packet will contain more information concerning ASCE's voluntary professional development program.
