Local attractions include the McWane Center, a $40 million hands-on science and technology museum with a 295 seat Imax Dome Theater. Visionland, a 70 acre industrial-themed water park which includes 20 rides, a giant roller coaster, a 14 screen movie theater and in-line skating. Five Points South, a historic neighborhood of unique architectural styles and tree lined streets, offers live music, casual to fine dining and entertainment. The Birmingham Zoo holds more than 1,000 animals from Orangutans to Siberian Tigers. Birmingham's Botanical Gardens span some 67 acres, which include Japanese Gardens. Barber Motorsports Park, home of the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum, holds the country's most impressive motorcycle collections, as well as the largest selection of Lotus racing cars in the world, and a 2.3 mile racetrack. The Hoover Met is the proud home of the Birmingham Barons Baseball Team.
