Local Weather
In April, the weather in Denver is highly
variable with average daily lows in the
mid 30’s and highs in the low 60’s.
Congress Dress
Business attire is appropriate for most 2002
Structures Congress events. Although jackets
are not required for the sessions, they are
advisable because conference rooms are
typically cool.
Refreshment Breaks
Complimentary coffee and soda service will
be available between sessions Thursday in
the Registration Foyer, and Friday and
Saturday in the Exhibit Hall.
Visit the ASCE Bookstore!
ASCE’s bookstore will showcase
hundreds of titles from the society’s
extensive collection. The bookstore
will be open during registration
hours. Look for it in the
Registration Desk area.
This is your once-a-year opportunity to visit
what may be the largest bookstore in the
world devoted to structural engineering titles.
Congress Proceedings
To pick up a CD-ROM of the Congress
Proceedings, turn in your ticket (included with
all Full Registrations) at the ASCE Bookstore.
Additional tickets for CDs can be purchased
at the Registration Desk. After the Congress,
CDs may be ordered by calling (800) 548-
2723 (U.S.) or (703) 295-6300.
