What is the Emerging Leaders Alliance?

The Emerging Leaders Alliance (ELA) is a partnership between engineering and scientific organizations seeking to provide an interdisciplinary community of learning and to promote the development of great leaders to guide our professions in addressing the needs of people in the 21st century.

At the 2013 ELA conference, participants will developed leadership skills in social styles, presentation skills, leadership of innovation, and more. This program provides opportunities to network with engineers and scientists from other disciplines and earn PDHs.

Members represent ASCE at the ELA conference.

Eight ASCE members will be selected to attend this year's ELA conference on behalf of ASCE.  The 2014 conference program topics include social skills, personal vision, team leadership, leading innovation, and more. If you are interested in participating, view the agenda and guidelines on who should attend.

The application for members interested in representing ASCE at the 2014 Emerging Leaders Alliance conference is now available.  Applications are due July 7, 2014.
