"Critical Infrastructure Needs: Water and the Environment" is the theme for this year's ASCE-EWRI World Environmental & Water Resources Congress (May 22-26, West Palm Beach Florida). Marc Edwards, Virginia Tech Professor and leader in the cause for clean water, will deliver the opening luncheon keynote presentation, speaking of his recent experience with the Flint, MI lead water crisis, as well as the potential for and approaches to resolving other water infrastructure issues that are important to protecting the safety, health and welfare of the public.
