Dr. Jagath Kaluarachchi is the Senior Associate Dean of the College of Engineering at Utah State university. He has been with the university for more than 23 years and also a professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering. His expertise include subsurface hydrology, groundwater quality modeling and management, hydrologic modeling and water resources systems analysis. He has worked in water resources and hydrology issues in the USA, Europe, Asia and Middle East.
He was the major adviser for 18 PhD students and 15 MS students and currently working with 3 PhD students.
He has delivered more than 30 invited seminars and short courses in many parts of the world and a Fellow of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
He has won many research awards at Utah State University and actively involved in international development work related to water resources.
