"Thank you, for making the ASCE Foundation the recipient of your generosity. Because of you, ASCE remains strong and continues to make a difference."
- Michael N. Goodkind, ASCE Foundation President
The ASCE Foundation provides support for ASCE programs that enhance quality of life, promote the profession, advance technical practices, and prepare civil engineers for tomorrow. The Foundation seeks to help build a stronger civil engineering profession to meet tomorrow's national and global challenges.
Founded in 1994, the ASCE Foundation has raised more than $20 million for critical ASCE programs during the last seventeen years. Initially, the Foundation was launched in order to purchase, finance, and operate the ASCE World Headquarters Building in Reston, Virginia. Since then, the Foundation has also provided support to a variety of projects impacting the profession.

that impact ASCE’s Vision 2025 and advance the civil engineering
profession. Grants may be distributed to ASCE programs and occasionally
to ASCE sections and branches, with the approval of the ASCE Foundation
Board of Directors. The Foundation will notify entities when funds are
available and invite proposals for specific topics. At that time, the
necessary grant proposal documents will be provided.
