The ASCE Foundation provides support for programs that enhance quality of life, promote the profession, advance technical practices, and prepare civil engineers for tomorrow. The Foundation seeks to help build a stronger profession to meet tomorrow's national and global challenges.

 

Founded in 1994, the ASCE Foundation has raised more than $20 million for critical ASCE programs during the last seventeen years. Initially, the Foundation was launched in order to purchase, finance, and operate the ASCE World Headquarters Building in Reston, Virginia. Since then, the Foundation has also provided support to a variety of projects impacting the profession including: ASCE’s 150th Anniversary: Building the Future, National Engineers Week, the National Infrastructure Vision Summit; and the Sustainability Infrastructure Rating System.
