    In the past year, the Foundation provided $1,050,000 in financial support to ASCE programs. In 2013, with your gifts, we will continue to fund programs within these main areas:

    The National Concrete Canoe Competition

    The ASCE National Concrete Canoe Competition (NCCC) provides students with a practical application of the engineering principles they learn in the classroom, along with important team and project management skills they will need in their careers. The event challenges the students' knowledge, creativity and stamina, while showcasing the versatility and durability of concrete as a building material. Learn more.

      Excellence in Civil Engineering Education In the summer of 2012, the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) will host the Excellence in Civil Engineering Education Teaching Workshop for civil engineering educators.
