D. Wayne Klotz, P.E., D.WRE, F.ASCE


D. Wayne Klotz, P.E., D.WRE, F.ASCE earned a bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University and a master's degree from the University of Houston. Since 1985, Klotz has served as president of Klotz Associates Inc. in Houston, an engineering firm specializing in land development, transportation, traffic, water and sewer, aviation and drainage. Klotz currently serves as Region 6 governor and on the Committee on Government Affairs. He has previously served as ASCE's District 15 director and president of both its Houston Branch and Texas Section, as well as vice president of the Texas Council of Engineering Companies board, president of the Houston Council of Engineering Companies, vice president of the C Club, and county appointee on both the Houston-Galveston Coastal Subsidence District and the Harris County Flood Control Task Force. Klotz has also been honored with numerous ASCE awards, including the Edmund Friedman Professional Recognition Award, the Texas John Focht Citizen Engineer Award and the Houston Branch and Texas Section Awards of Honor.
