David M. Schnurbusch, P.E., received his bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Vermont. Schnurbusch is president and CEO of USA Professional Services Group Inc. in Dallas, a firm specializing in land planning, zoning, engineering, surveying, landscape architecture and construction administration services. With more than 30 years of civil engineering experience, Schnurbusch has been responsible for the land planning, zoning, site engineering and construction administration of more than 400,000 single family lots in Texas. An active ASCE member since serving as a student chapter officer at the University of Vermont, Schnurbusch has served as president of both the Texas Section and Dallas Branch. Among his numerous awards, Schnurbusch received the 1990 Young Engineer of the Year and the 1998 Civil Engineer of the Year awards. He also received the Texas Section's 1997 Professional Service Award and 2003 Award of Honor for eminence in the engineering profession.
