Michael Wenning, P.E., M.ASCE is a department manager at American Consulting, a multi-discipline consulting firm in Indianapolis, where he has worked since graduating from Purdue University. He also attended the U.S. Coast Guard Academy. He has been an active member of ASCE for over 20 years, past president of the Metropolitan Indianapolis Branch and Indiana Section, and chair of District 9 Council. He received the 2003 Indiana Section Engineer of the Year award. Under his leadership, numerous American Consulting bridge projects have received awards for innovation and quality.
