International Activities
ASCE's vision is to position engineers as global leaders building a better quality of life. To advance civil engineering practice and encourage greater information sharing among civil engineers, ASCE pursues collaboration with civil engineering societies around the globe. Currently, ASCE maintains 70 Agreements of Cooperation with civil engineering societies in other nations. In addition, the Society provides networking to its international members through 16 International Groups and 12 International Sections. Currently, some 16,000+ ASCE members reside outside the U.S.
