The 2013 Central Region YMC (Regions 3, 6 and 7) will take place on January 11 and 12, 2013 at the Hyatt Regency Milwaukee along with the Workshop for Section and Branch Leaders and the Workshop for Student Chapter Leaders at the Central Region Leadership Conference.

Friday, January 11
7:00am – 5:00pm:  Central Region Leadership Conference Sessions
5:15pm – 6:15pm:  Reception
8:00pm – 11:00pm:  Social Event at Miller Brewing Company (see flyer)

Saturday, January 12
7:45am – 1:30pm:  Central Region Leadership Conference Sessions
2:00pm – 6:00pm:  Beer Barons Tour (see flyer)


STEM Expo

A large portion of the funding for the evening events were made possible through donations towards the STEM Expo at Milwaukee School of Engineering on September 15, 2012.  The interactive event for local K-12 students was put on by the Wisconsin Section, Southeast Branch YMG with the help of over 120 volunteers.

The Central Region Younger Member Council will present five awards to Younger Members at the Regions 3, 6, and 7 Multi-Region Leadership Conference in Milwaukee, WI on January 11-12, 2013: Awards include Outstanding Younger Member in Community Activities , Outstanding Younger Member Group Community Service Project, Outstanding ASCE Practitioner Advisor Award, Outstanding Young Civil Engineer in the Private Sector, and Outstanding Young Civil Engineering in the Public Sector.

Activities

Central Region YMC Evening Activities include a Social and Brewery Tour at Miller Brewing Company on Friday night and a Beer Barrons Tour on Saturday afternoon.  Both events require RSVP by December 20, 2012 to wise.ymg.officers@gmail.com. For more details, visit the Activities Section or click on the socials above to view event flyers.
