The American Society of Civil Engineers and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers have developed a resource guide that provides a listing of resources for use by teachers and volunteers who wish to provide young people with non-traditional learning materials for science, math, engineering and technology. It includes videos, kits, occasional special projects, and programs for long-term in-class and out-of school use. It also lists many organizations which provide their services and membership free of charge to interested parents, volunteers, and teachers.
